Terms of Service

These terms set out the agreement between you (a tradesperson or business using EstiMateGo) and Stuart Allsopp ("EstiMateGo", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What EstiMateGo does

EstiMateGo is a web and mobile application that helps UK tradespeople create quick estimates and detailed quotes, send them to customers, and manage simple booking flows. It is not an accounting system, is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, tax, or trade-specific), and does not guarantee outcomes for your business.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older, based in the United Kingdom, and using EstiMateGo for legitimate trade work.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you think your account has been accessed without permission, tell us immediately.
• One person, one account. You may share a business with other users on your team; you may not share a single login.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, use the service fraudulently, or attempt to damage or abuse the platform or other users.

3. Free and Pro plans

EstiMateGo offers a Free tier with monthly caps on ballparks, quotes and other resources, and a Pro tier with unlimited usage and additional features. Current pricing and limits are shown in the app. We may change pricing or feature mix by giving 30 days' notice to active subscribers; changes will take effect at your next renewal.

Subscription is billed in advance by Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; no refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all the quotes, pricing, customer records, logos, and other content you put into EstiMateGo ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you — nothing more.

You are responsible for Your Content — including making sure you have the right to process your customers' personal data in line with UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.

5. AI-generated suggestions

EstiMateGo uses AI services (Anthropic Claude and local models) to help you with things like suggesting booking times, generating question sets for new job types, and interpreting supplier product pages. These are suggestions. You're responsible for reviewing everything before it goes to a customer. We aren't liable for errors in AI-generated content.

6. Calendar integration

If you connect Google Calendar, you authorise EstiMateGo to read free/busy information within your stated availability window and to create, update and delete events that are created by EstiMateGo bookings. We do not read, modify or share any of your other calendar events.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes anyone's rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass technical limits.
• Use the service to store or process payment card data. Payments go through Stripe only.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or anything intended to disrupt the service.
• Resell or rebrand EstiMateGo as your own service without a written agreement.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for EstiMateGo to be available when you need it, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features, pricing, or retire parts of the service; we'll tell you about material changes via email at least 30 days in advance where practical.

9. Your customers

When a customer receives a quote from you via EstiMateGo and responds, we act as a data processor on your behalf. You are the data controller for your customers' personal data. You should have your own privacy notice covering how you handle their data once it's in your hands.

10. Limitations of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided "as is", without warranties of fitness for any particular purpose.
• We aren't liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential losses.
• Our total liability to you over any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid in that period.
• Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can't lawfully be excluded.

11. Ending the agreement

You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from your account settings. On deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days (see the Privacy Policy).

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time if you materially breach these terms, with notice where possible.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
